I offer personalised setup and repair services tailored to your individual needs.

your playing style and your specific preferences are important - such as genre, string gauge, preferred action, etc. I'm always happy to tweak a setup after completion for no charge if isn't to your liking - setups are a very personal thing, so sometimes a secondary adjustment can be necessary, especially with changes in the weather and humidity - don't be afraid to reach out if this is the case

Pricing Guide

Basic setup/service Guitar and Bass - $125 - this will include all setup adjustments necessary and making sure all hardware and electronics are operating and fastened correctly. Plus light clean/polish. Plus strings of your choice or by my recommendation

+ $125 - Floating tremolos, Floyd-Rose etc.

+ $31.25 - 12-string guitars

+ $62.50-$125 - Deep cleaning for very dirty instruments (can include full disassemble of all hardware and clean/polish of all hardware, cavities and body/neck, excessive fretboard gunk, rust treatment)

Fret dress - from $280-$325 - includes service/setup in addition to leveling frets under string tension, crowning and polishing all frets

+ $62.50 - Reseat all frets if required, assuming there is adequate height/material present. A re-fret (partial or full) will be quoted otherwise

Nut/saddle - $187.50 + material. Replace broken or worn nut or saddle with material of choice or bone by default including setup/service (see top)

Wiring work - $125 plus parts. This includes any standalone wiring repair or modification work for standard electric guitar/bass wiring harnesses. Unique or complex harnesses will be quoted individually. 

+ $62.50 - Hollow-body electric guitars or other instruments with more labour required to access components

Refret - quoted by job, full re-frets start at approximately $500.00 plus fret wire - includes fretboard dressing where necessary, new nut, crown and polish all frets and setup/service. Your choice of fret-wire or by my recommendation (I generally recommend stainless frets on modern instruments as it will require less maintenance - it will cost a little more upfront, but will save you money and maintenance in the long-term)

+62.50 New saddle, (acoustic guitars/basses) as required

+$125 Bound necks

+$62.50 Ebony or other fragile fretboard material

+$125 Finished maple board, no board levelling or refinishing

+$125 Stainless frets (labour - they take longer to crown and polish)

Structural repairs - are quoted by job at $125 per hour. Most routine repairs (crack repairs, bridging, etc) range from around 1-3 hours, not including parts.

All work and parts are guaranteed for 90 days. This does not include misuse or accidental damage
